Even though my husband had longed for a short-haired dog, the decision to move in was made very quickly and spontaneously.
A friend told me that she and her family had chosen a female dog from a mixed breed Great Dane x Ridgeback. And that "Emma" still has four black sisters who have not been placed.
In the four days in which I hadn't said anything at home, I kept asking myself whether I could and would like to let such a short-haired mouse into my Hovi heart for the sake of my husband .....
On June 25th, 2016 we went on our way.
Two girls were shortlisted ... and they were all cute!
But what will Mara say? Except for living with Ella and visiting Ella's sister Eluna, she never had any problems with other dogs.
But how will she behave towards Frieda ....?
Neutral. A little curious and interested. But luckily, during their time together, she never felt reset.
Only I didn't expect Frieda's reaction to Mara.
Squeaking and screaming, she fled at the sight of Mara. She had met other dogs in her first eight weeks, but obviously only short-haired ones.
Fortunately, this fear gave way to curiosity about the "hairy" Mara. During their short time together it was a harmonious togetherness and Mara always kept an eye on little Frieda!
